Self-Help Bankruptcy Class Offered by Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service

On Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service (MVLS) will be conducting a self-help seminar on How to File for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.  This class is being offered to people of low- or moderate-income who have a high school diploma and are not in a foreclosure proceeding.  The class is at the MVLS administrative office downtown at One North Charles Street, Suite 222, Baltimore, MD 21201.

An experienced bankruptcy lawyer will be conducting the class and will instruct participants on how to complete the necessary bankruptcy petition forms and represent themselves at the bankruptcy hearing.
