MARYLAND VOLUNTEER LAWYERS SERVICE ANNOUNCES FREE TRAINING FOR ATTORNEYS

Representing Low-Income Clients With IRS Tax Disputes

Learn how to navigate your way through typical tax controversies and how to successfully deal with the IRS. No prior tax knowledge required - well suited to transactional attorneys and litigators alike.  Attendees will be assigned one pro bono case. Most cases involve administrative remedies. Opportunities to represent clients in collection due process hearings and before the U.S. Tax Court may also arise.
